In 1947 in Südlengern, Germany, brothers Gustav and August Lüdeking founded teutonia with two interwoven missions: to be different and to be better. They believed they could apply Germany's legendary engineering excellence to the design and manufacture of strollers that would give parents and children a more comfortable, more convenient and higher quality experience.

For over 60 years, teutonia has been making strollers and nothing but strollers, and has become a leading stroller company in Germany and one of the top sellers throughout Europe, still guided by the innovative thinking, high standards and tradition of excellence established by our founders.

In early 2007, teutonia became part of the Newell Rubbermaid family of companies and teutonia usa was formed, committed to the same values of comfort, convenience and quality.
